One Airport Experience
Helped Make the Next Family Trip Easier
Around eight months after their first trip to Vietnam,
the family returned and used our airport support again — this time as a group of six.
One experience helped bring more confidence to the next journey.
Travel Story
It Started With Their Trip in November 2025
After being introduced to VJP FASTTRACK by an acquaintance, a Japanese family of three used Arrival Fast Track at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. After arriving on Japan Airlines flight JL79, their immigration procedure took approximately 15 minutes. The family then continued their journey to Da Nang.
Journey Timeline
From Their First Service to the Next Family Trip
Their First Arrival Fast Track Experience
A Japanese family of three arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on JL79. Their immigration procedure took approximately 15 minutes.
A Question About a Domestic Connection at Noi Bai Airport
The customer later contacted us on LINE about an experience that occurred while transferring from an international flight to a domestic flight. They wanted to confirm the correct procedure for future trips.
They Contacted Us Again About Their Next Vietnam Trip
The family shared their new itinerary: arriving in Ho Chi Minh City on JL79 and continuing to Da Nang on Vietnam Airlines flight VN126.
Returning With a Family of Six
Two adults and four children used Arrival Fast Track together with domestic flight connection assistance. The total airport support time was approximately 60 minutes.
The Story
An Airport Transfer Experience That Showed How Challenging Vietnam Travel Can Be
After the family’s first trip, we received another message from the customer through LINE.
The question was about the shuttle bus used when transferring from the international terminal to the domestic terminal at Noi Bai Airport.
At an unfamiliar airport, especially when there is limited connection time, it can be difficult to calmly confirm whether the bus waiting in front of you is actually the correct transportation for your transfer.
The customer’s message reflected both a real difficulty they had encountered during the trip and their desire to understand the correct procedure so they could avoid the same situation in the future.
This incident did not occur during the Tan Son Nhat Airport support described later in this case study.
However, it gave the customer firsthand experience of how important it can be to know where to go, which transportation to use and what needs to be checked next when transferring to a domestic flight after arriving internationally.
Around Eight Months Later, We Received Their Next Itinerary
Approximately eight months after their first use of the service, the customer contacted us again through LINE.
This time, the trip included six family members: two adults and four children. One of the adults was an elderly traveler.

Travel Insight
What This Case Shows About International-to-Domestic Connections in Vietnam
After an International Arrival, Immigration May Be Only One Part of the Journey
When passengers arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and continue to Da Nang on a domestic flight, as in this case, the journey may involve more than immigration and baggage collection.
Passengers may also need to move toward the airport exit, transfer to the domestic terminal, complete domestic check-in, pass through security and locate the correct boarding gate.
For families traveling together, particularly those traveling with children or elderly family members, everyone must move through these steps while also keeping track of baggage and the group’s progress.
Even when there appears to be enough time between the international arrival and the domestic departure, understanding where to go next and how to make the terminal connection can be an important part of travel preparation.
Terminal layouts and transfer procedures also differ from one airport to another. A procedure used at one airport should not automatically be assumed to apply at another. Checking the actual airport and itinerary in advance can make the transfer easier to manage.
Summary
One Experience Became Preparation for the Next Journey
In November 2025, a Japanese family of three used Arrival Fast Track at Tan Son Nhat International Airport for the first time.
Later during their travels, they experienced difficulty with a domestic connection at another airport and were unable to board their planned flight.
Instead of leaving that experience behind, the customer used it as a reason to confirm more information before the family’s next journey.
Around eight months later, the family returned to Vietnam, this time as a group of six. We accompanied them from their JL79 international arrival through the connection process to the VN126 domestic boarding gate.
Perhaps the reason they contacted us again
was not only the service itself,
but also the reassurance of being better prepared for the next journey.
